Eligibility
Candidates for XIME’s Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management
(PGDBM) are required to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised
university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken
together (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination and are
awaiting their results may also apply. They should have maintained an
average of 50% marks in the programme until that time. They should also
complete all their degree examinations before 21st June, 2008.Such candidates are also required to provide proof of passing the degree examination with the minimum required marks, latest by 30th September 2008.
Admission Procedure
1. Obtain XIME Application Form & Programme Brochure
The above may be obtained from XIME on payment of Rs.750 in cash or DD favouring
‘XIME,Bangalore’ payable at Bangalore. Application forms can also be obtained from
designated IMS learning centers. Alternatively, application form can be
downloaded from the website of XIME www.xime.org. Downloaded form may be filled up
and sent along with the registration fee of Rs. 750/- in the form of a DD favouring ‘XIME,
Bangalore’.
2. Registration for XAT
Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur, on an all India basis at different
centres on January 06, 2008.

indicate the XAT/CAT score for the year in the application form (if
received). If scores are not received
at the time of filling up the application,a copy of the score card
must be sent by email / post so as to reach XIME latest by 31st

XAT 2008
XAT online registration opens : September 01, 2007
XAT online registration closes : November 30, 2007
XAT Admissions Test : January 06, 2008
XIME
Issue of application form begins : October 20, 2007
Last date for issue of application from XIME : January 31, 2008
Last date for submission of duly filled application to XIME : February 07, 2008
Dates for Group Discussion / Interview : Between February 12, 2008 and February 29, 2008

PGDBM Programme Commences : Monday, June 23, 2008
Fee Structure
The programme fee (covering Admission, Tuition, Library, Computer Centre, Establishment,
Examinations, Activities and Alumni Association Membership) is to be paid in eight
instalments as indicated below:
First Year
Rs. 1,60,000 : Payable in four instalments (Rs. 40,000, 40,000, 40,000 and 40,000)
Second year
Rs. 1,75,000 : Payable in four instalments (Rs. 45,000, 45,000, 45,000 and 40,000)
Dates for payment of fees will be announced at the beginning of the year.
Caution Deposit
A one time caution deposit of Rs. 15,000 is payable at the time
of admission, which is refundable at the end of the programme, after
deducting dues to XIME, if any.
Additional Charges Payable
Second Years towards the cost of textbooks, programme materials,
economic daily and journal to be supplied.

The Administration of Xavier Institute of Management and
Entrepreneurship reserves the right to make any changes in the
requirement and regulations for admission, regulations for continuing
in the course or for graduation, contents of the courses, fees charged,
regulations affecting students,
programme administration, or make any suitable modifications in any
provision of the course syllabus,hostel admissions or in any matter
incidental or ancillary thereto, should these be deemed
necessary in the interest of the students, the institute, or the
profession. All matters of dispute shall be subject to the Jurisdiction
of Courts of the City of Bangalore.
