Eligibility
Candidates for XIME’s Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management
(PGDBM) are required to have a bachelor’s degree from a recognised
university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks for all subjects taken
together (45% for SC/ST candidates).
Candidates who are appearing for their final year examination and are
awaiting their results may also apply. They should have maintained an

Over the years symbiosis university has had a lot of buisness ideas. One of them was starting a B - School which imparts specialisation in Telecom management. Atleast, I dont know about any other institutte which offers such a course. (In case you know, do drop a line) But looking at the placement trends I dont think this is one idea which has lived up to the expetations. With retail and manufacturing boom hitting India all of a sudden there was shortage of skilled managers in this domain. This shortage formed the very basis of SIOM’s vision. SIOM was established in year 2005 with a vision to prepare operations manager who had in depth knowledge of managing logistics and enhancing productivity. The Phase II of the selection will consist of Group Discussion,Personal Interview,Group Activity & Written Communication Test. The Group Discussion will be based on a case study, which will be followed by personal interview. The Group Test would evaluate the soft skills required in a managerial position and the written communication would evaluate the ability to write concisely & coherently. FMS 2008 had more than 10 wrong questions. Thats an amazing number keeping in mind that FMS is one of “the” institutes in India. FMS will most probably nullify these questions but what about those precious seconds you waste while skimming through these questions?

As anticipated GD&PI shortlist for SIIB admissions 2008 has followed the same guidelines as 2007. For open category the cut off for GD PI calls for SIIB admissions 2008 is 81.25(IB) and 51.75 (AB) .

Over the years SIU has declared many results. But season 2008 is turning out to be a new experience for them. First, SNAP 2007 results happened. People were wait for as long as 4 days to see their results. SCMHRD kept everybody on tenterhooks. Result which was supposed to be declared by 9 am in the morning was not declared till 5 in the evening and once the result was declared, new complication cropped up.
