Goa Institute of Management, GIM final results 2008 are out

GIM has declared its list of shortlisted students for admissions to the PGDM 2008-2010. The list is available at GIM’s XAT website.
GIM has declared two lists, One with merit students and other with waitlisted students. There is no update on fees and other course details as yet. I am through and now I am unsure about SIIB and GIM. 
A NCR GIM converts is on the anvil. All delhi converts and second listed can leave a comment with their valid email address.

how many should expect to clear and by when
No of people in second list is in excess of 50. Exact numbers are not known as yet.
Not more than 10 should expect to clear. Second list is not expected before 15th of next month.

Hey Rahul, i dint get ur dilemma SIIB is no doubt better than GI, as per brand name and even placements are reflecting the same.Well dont want 2 say further because I am goin 2 join GIM bcoz converted this only so My institute is best

i’m on second list thts why
There are atleast 9 final admits who are dropping out of GIM. I am not sure as yet. I will be sending the first installment. I am awaiting couple of other results also and am hoping to convert them. I get either of them I am out of GIM and SIIB both.
I guess..it will only be clear once the waitlisted candidates get their ranks…and I had to ask this..how can you be so sure that there would be roughly 10 people from waitlist who would make it. Was it by any pprevious year’s trends…??? I am in second waitlist..eagerly waiting for my rank..and waitlist movement..

yea there is some information doing the rounds. last year they had more than 120 names in shortlist and some 50 odd in second list. last year 7~10 from second list managed to sneak in.
As of now there are 12 confirmed dropouts from GIM shortlist. This number will soar once other pending results start pouring in.
As you pointed out, things will become clear only when second listed get ranks.
