XAT 2009 notification is out guys. XAT, as expected will be conducted on January 4th, 2009. This year around 60 institutes will be taking XAT score and the test will be conducted at 31 centers around the country. XAT, in my view, is the most apt and professionally conducted exam, even better than CAT. The PDF document in this post has flow chart which clearly spells out XAT 2009 admission procedure.

As I said earlier, this year around 60 institutes have signed up for XAT scores, but unlike CAT 2008, the quality of institutes opting for XAT 2009 is not as good. But, some of the institutes that come under XAT 2009 are the premier institutes of this country XLRI and SP Jain, being the most notable amongst them. Other institutes of note are Goa Institute of Management GIM and Xaviers Institute of Business Management XIMB.
