Notification out : JMET 2009
JMET 2009 notification was released some time back ( as a matter of fact, way back ). JMET 2009 is a qualifying exam for admissions to MBA programme of all IIT’s. This year IISc Bangalore is not participating and NIT calicut will be using the JMET 2009 merit list for admission process. One of the best things with JMET is that it gives you an option to pick and chose the institutes you wish to apply to.
JMET 2009 will be conducted on 14th of deceember, 2009. Amazingly, TISS is also scheduled for the same day. I dont know when will these guys start thinking about poosr aspirants, in terms of money they ask us to pay and also in terms of scheduling the exam. Anyways, coming back to JMET 2009,
Eligibilty
Eligibilty for each institute varies. The very basic of eligibility is that you ought to be an engineer. There are some clarifications on this front in the actual JMET brochure.. Other eligibilities include a minimum marks percentage in your bachelors degree. Which is about 60% in case of most of institutes. Following doc has all these critirea’s in detail.

And it will be divided into four sections

Unlike any other B School entrance exam, JMET 2009 goes a step further and actually gives you the syllabus outline so that the student is better prepared for mayhem on the exam day.
