SNAP 2008 : Analysis and Expected Cutoffs
Apparently there are some discrepancies in answer keys. Read this post on some tips on how to handle this.
Earlier, I posted two of the SNAP 2008 reviews, I had received from the readers. One was from Prashant, who was an ex-faculty with Career Launcher and Another perspective was from an aspirant, Deepika (Read and Contribute). Now, this post has some reviews from the web, sourced from some of the most influential MBA forums and MBA coaching sites. The paper caught some of the students on the wrong foot. Differential marking was introduced for all the sections and paper carried 135 questions to be solved in 120 minutes. The paper, it is being said, was tougher than last years but do not expect much variation in cut-offs. According to pagalguy poll, around 20% are expecting a score in excess of 80. That would mean that major colleges like SIBM and SCMHRD will once again close above 80. Following are college wise cut offs and Sectional scores as predicted by various experts Overall Cutoffs

i am ph category candidate and i hav scored around 42 and hav good scores in all section, but in verbal section i hav scored -0.25, so can i expect a call from sibm,scmhrd or siib….
as last year cutoff was 37….
im confusd abt english section should i fill in d forms of these colleges..

hi,i am an st candidate with 2 years of work x. i have scored 62 in total with 14in English, 8.75 in quant, 7.25 in gk and 32 in logical reasoning.
r these marks good enough to get me a call from sibm/scmhrd?

SCMHRD might give you a call if you have an exceptional overall profile. Otherwise, things look difficult.
sir, i have work experience of 3 years and scored around 70. (GK low score - about 6). Can i expect a call from SCMHRD or SIIB?

No sirs please. SIIB yes. A lot will depend on your education background also. SCMHRD, if you have an exceptional profile.

54 is tricky. SIOM can be a possibility. Some other lower rung Symbi colleges can give you a call.

I scored 50 in the snap 2008 and i have a work exp of 1 yr and i have a good acedmic backgroung with 77% in 10th,74% in 12th and 79% in engineering.Can you please tell me the name of the colleges of symbiosis whose forms I can fill using this score??

If you are not eligible for any quota then you should not fill SIBM, SCMHRD and SIIB. SIOM can be filled if you are interested. Check out SITM trends, not sure about that one.
Hi … My SNAP score is cming out to be 60. Work Ex 3 yrs…..X,XII,Graduation scores are 86%,83%,77% respectvly…. wht are thye chances of gertting a call from SIIB and SIOM?

SIBM and SCMHRD are not difficult with that score. SIIB and SIOM.

Replying to individual queries is a tad bit difficult. Please refer to earlier answers and the post itself. Please dont ask me questions like if you will get SIBM at 50 etc.

SIOM seems possible, keeping in mind what they did last year.

Expect a call from all colleges. As for SIBM Bangalore, it is too early to say anything about the institute, You can avoid it.

SITM yes. SIIB : gamble if you feel like.

SIOM seems difficult. SIIB will be a gamble. SCMHRD not possible unless you have an exceptional profile.
