Second phase of  admissions to SIIB 2009 start today. Here are a few things you an keep in mind while tackling the last round of admission process. A typical second round of SIIB has following components,

• Group discussion : Caselet based
• Personal Interview
• Group Task

Group discussion is generally caselet based and lasts for 45 minutes. 45 minutes means you will get more than enough time to have your say. So do not make it a fish market, I am sure everybody has been telling you the same. Try to give the discussion a direction, do not try to dominate the discussion. Speak less but speak sense. Whatever you speak should show a logical thought process behind it. And in the end, try to conclude, if possible.

Personal Interviews at SIIB are generally a cakewalk. They are more of an HR process than an MBA interview. Keep yourself abreast with happenings around you.

Group tasks are conducted to see your teamwork abilities. So, try to help everyone. If team wins, you win. You alone completing the task will not have that much of an impact.
