With the announcement of CAT going online, some jumped with joy, some got scared and most of you were left clueless. CAT 2009 will be a Computer Based Test. And till date we do not have much details about it. For a news, that is going to have an impact in 2.5 Lakh students, I think we deserved more clarity. CAT 2009 notification is expected sometime in July, and one can only hope that the notification has much more details. Here is what we know about CAT 2009 - CBT till now,
CAT 2009 will be online
Exam will conducted for 10 days during the last week of November.
The test is unlikely to be an adaptive one. For those who do not understand what an adaptive test means, look up for GMAT and thank your stars that CAT CBT is not going adaptive just yet.
What this means for the candidates is that all test papers available online are suddenly useless, to a large extent yes they are useless. Your black board and chalk CAT tutor is no longer that effective. Where do you go in such a situation? Hang on. I have some ideas. Watch this space..
