Though the notification for CAT 2009 is still some time away, yet another layer was removed from the CAT 2009 computer based test. IIMA published a FAQ on its website which answers most of the queries that one may have for CAT 2009 computer based test. Among other things that are clarified in the document, following are some of the key points,

• CAT 2009 will not be computer adaptive. It will not be an internet based test.
• CAT 2009 notification will be out by end of august.
• Application fees will be Rs. 1400, which is great news. All this while, I have believed that online test will be far more expensive, Great that they have managed to control the cost.
• Exam will be held in last 10 days of November.
• CAT 2009 results will be declared by end of January 2010.
