One expected that they will scrap the CAT 2009 and go for a retest amidst reports of technical glitches as well as glitches in setting the questions for the exam. But they had something else in mind and yesterday they declared that the test was mostly OK except for 4% of the students who suffered because of technical glitches.

In.com, Network 18’s media portal, is now reporting that prometric’s CAT agreement is under the scanner. The report quotes IIM-A director’s statement which clearly indicates that prometric is all set to experience heat.

“IIMs have decided to continue with the computer-based test for 2009. We also look forward to continue the CAT through computer-based testing in future. We will review the contract with Prometric” – IIM-A director, Barua
