With the announcement of CAT going online, some jumped with joy, some got scared and most of you were left clueless. CAT 2009 will be a Computer Based Test. Of late, i have been keeping extremely busy. I tried to start writing again but failed to do it. These days I am working o na project and I do get time to start writing again. Morever, last semester was horrible for all the reasons other than academic. Next two semesters cannot be as bad. So here I am, plugging back into the blogosphere.

As the last date of submission for CET 2009 application comes closer, CET 2009 forms are selling like hot cakes. Going by the buzz around CET 2009, it appears that CET 2009 is going to be a one hell of an experience. What that means is that you, the aspirant, should tighten your belt and give yourself a fair shot at CET 2009.

Now this is hilarious. I don’t understand, why SCMHRD is doing this. SCMHRD is sending out a mail to candidates shortlisted for GD PI process, asking them to reconsider their decision to go for MBA. Isn’t that strange? If you think they shouldn’t be doing MBA at this stage, better you don’t give them calls at all. And guess what, Email is being sent on director’s behalf. MH CET 2009 will be conducted on 15th of February and forms for MH CET 2009 are already out. Forms are available at some post offices across the country. Forms were originally supposed to be made available from 15th of January, but due to some reasons the date was later postponed to 19th January.
But it appears that the decision to postpone the sale of forms was not well communicated and that’s why some post offices have already started selling the form. There is a huge rush for MH-CET 2009 forms.

FMS 2009 redefined surprise. After a tougher exam season, you guys might have been hoping for an easier exam but FMS 2009 paper setters had something else in mind. Probably, buoyed by 50000 applicants they decided to set a tough paper. A tough paper and higher number of applicants means tighter cutoffs.

Congratulations FMS, for FMS 2009 was conducted in a far better way than FMS 2008. As of now it seems there were no errors in the paper ( at least not as much as in FMS 2008). The paper, was way tougher than previous year FMS exams. This one had far tougher quant than earlier exams, though there were a few easier ones here and there.

SNAP 2008-2009 results are out and as always, SNAP has managed to create confusion. This year there is a huge discrepancy in the scores as per answer keys that were published by various institutes and the actual SNAP 2008 scores. Generally, everybody is getting 8-12 marks less than what was expected. Somebody getting more marks will be treated as an exception, such is the extent of students getting less marks. Now what this will mean is that we will see lower cutoffs for the institutes as compared to originally predicted. …
