XAT 2009 will be conducted tomorrow. As always, be prepared for some surprises. Don’t be to bothered about the essay topic because that will come in the end and you will have sufficient time to think about it. As for the main XAT exam, we can always fall back on last few year XAT exams to formulate an initial strategy. Following is a comparison of analysis of last few year XAT exams and what was thought to be the right strategy for the exam.

“Expect the unexpected” is how XAT is defined by most of mba entrance gurus. This year was different, not because XAT had some surprises thrown in but because surprises in XAT no longer surprise you.
